TTV
Car TV & IPTV Cast Player · Your own playlist on the car screen, the TV and every Apple device
The IPTV subscription you already pay for, on the screens you actually sit in front of: the car’s display while you are parked, the TV in the room, the Apple TV under it and the watch on your wrist. TTV comes with no channels. It plays the playlist you bring, and nothing else.

Bring your own
No channels included
TTV comes with no channels. It plays the playlist you already have.
No channels, no playlists, no subscriptions and no provider to recommend — TTV sells none of them. You add the login or the link your provider gave you, or your own media server, and TTV turns it into live TV, a guide, films and series.
From your provider
- Xtream Codes Server, user, password
- M3U / M3U8 A link or a file
- XMLTV guide From the playlist, or a link
Your own media server
- Jellyfin Password or Quick Connect
- Emby Server sign-in
- Plex Sign in with a PIN
A connection runs between your device and the service you chose. It passes through nothing of ours.
-
01
Xtream Codes, filled in for you
Paste the get.php link your provider sent and the server, user name and password fill themselves in. Live channels, films, series and the guide arrive together, and Home tells you when the account has expired.
-
02
M3U and M3U8, from a link or a file
Add a playlist by its address, or pick the file from Files. Live channels, films and series are sorted apart, every guide the playlist names is read, and its catch-up details are kept.
-
03
Lists the size of a library
TTV is tested with a 700,000-row playlist — thirty thousand channels, nearly a hundred thousand films and twenty thousand series — and takes it whole. The last copy is kept, so the next launch opens on it at once and refreshes behind you.
-
04
Several playlists, each with a face
Give every playlist a symbol and a colour, switch from the toolbar, and see at a glance which one you are watching. A new one gets a face no other playlist has.
-
05
Jellyfin, Emby and Plex as full sources
Sign in with a password, Quick Connect or a Plex PIN. Your libraries become films and series, the server’s Continue Watching and Next Up appear on Home, and what you finish is marked as watched on the server.
02
In the car
CarPlay, parked and moving
Your playlist, on the car’s own screen.
Waiting at a charger, in a car park, on a break from a long drive: open the channel, the film or the episode you left halfway, on the biggest screen you have with you. Picture while the car is parked, sound once it moves.
-
01
Built for CarPlay, not squeezed onto it
Favourites, Channels, Recents and Playlists as CarPlay tabs, drawn by the car in its own style — big enough to read at a glance and reached with one tap.
-
02
Picture when parked, sound when moving
With the car parked, the channel, the film or the episode plays on the car’s display. When the car moves off, the picture stops and the sound carries on.
-
03
Change channel from the steering wheel
Next and previous on the wheel or on the screen zap through the channels around the one that is on. Now Playing shows what is up next, and a heart keeps a channel in your favourites.
-
04
Mirror the phone to the car display
Not only TTV: start mirroring from the app and the iPhone’s screen — another video app, a browser — appears on the car’s display, until you stop it.
-
05
Switch playlists without the phone
The Playlists tab moves between your sources — the family list, the sports list — from the car’s own screen.
-
06
Keeps playing with the phone locked
Lock the phone and put it away: the sound keeps going, and the Lock Screen, Control Center and AirPods controls work as they do for music.
Video in the car is for passengers and for parked cars. Never watch video while driving, and always follow the traffic laws where you are.
03
Mirror & cast
The phone is the remote
Any screen nearby, from any app.
Where the picture can go
- CarPlay Plug in, or wireless
- Chromecast Found on your network
- AirPlay Built into iOS
- Screen mirroring Any app, to car or TV
- Chromecast
- TVs and streaming sticks on your network are found on their own. Send the channel or the film, and the phone becomes the remote — play, pause, and channel up and down without reopening the player.
- AirPlay
- To an Apple TV, an AirPlay TV or a car display that takes AirPlay, straight from the player.
- Screen mirroring, for every app
- Videos in apps that have no cast button go to the car display or the TV through TTV’s mirroring. Start it from TTV, and stop it whenever you like.
- A Cast button that is always there
- It sits in the toolbar as well as in the player, so you can pick the TV before you pick the channel.
- Told plainly when a stream refuses
- Some providers block playback on a Chromecast with a setting on their side. TTV says so in words rather than spinning for ever, and AirPlay will usually still play it.
04
Live TV & guide
What is on, and what was
A guide that keeps up with what is on.
Now and next on every row, a full grid when you want it, and the programme you missed still there when your provider keeps it.
- Now and next on every row
- Channels by category with what is on, what comes after and how far through it is — in Live TV, in Favourites and inside the player.
- A full TV guide
- An XMLTV grid with a line at the present moment, the programme’s details on a tap, and a reminder for anything coming up.
- Start Over and catch-up
- Restart a programme that is already under way, or play one that aired earlier, on the channels whose provider keeps an archive.
- Pause and rewind live TV
- When the stream keeps a window behind it, scrub back into it, and Go Live returns you to the present with the delay shown.
- Live Now, Favourites and Recents
- A shelf of what is on right now across your favourite channels, and the last channels you watched one tap away.
- Search the whole list
- One search across channels, films and series, matching accented letters — Turkish ones included — the way people actually type them.
05
Films & series
Online, then offline
- Posters, categories and detail pages
- Films and series by category in a poster grid, with a page for each title and every season’s episodes laid out.
- Resume and next episode
- Pick up a film where you stopped, follow a series’ progress, and find the next episode waiting when one ends.
- Downloads for the plane and the metro
- Download a film, an episode or a whole season in one tap. Pause, resume and retry; watch offline; see how much space it takes.
- Mark as watched
- On a Jellyfin, Emby or Plex server, mark a title as watched — or not — and the server keeps the answer for every other app you use with it.
06
Player
One thumb, every control
A player you can drive with one thumb.
Zap, scrub, browse the guide and send the picture to the TV, all without leaving the picture. Every gesture has a button beside it, for when a gesture is not what you want.
-
01
The channel list and guide inside the player
Beside the picture in landscape, under it in portrait: browse channels by category, or read the day’s guide, without the picture ever stopping.
-
02
Gestures, each with a button too
Swipe sideways to zap or to scrub, double-tap to skip ten seconds, slide the edges for brightness and volume, pinch to fill the screen, and swipe down to shrink into a mini player.
-
03
Picture in Picture and AirPlay
Keep a channel in a corner while you use another app, or send it to the TV.
-
04
Tracks, aspect, speed and sleep
Audio and subtitle tracks, aspect ratio, playback speed, and a sleep timer for the last programme of the night.
07
Every screen
Phone, TV, wrist, desk
On every Apple screen you own, and the one in your car.
- Apple TV
- A full app for the Siri Remote: Live Now, Favourites and Continue on Home, Live TV by category, films, series, search, and the system player you already know.
- Apple Watch
- Now playing with play, pause and channel up and down, and now and next on your favourite channels — the remote you are already wearing.
- Widgets and Control Center
- Now on your favourite channels, Continue Watching, Live Now and a downloads gauge on the Home Screen and Lock Screen, and a Live TV control in Control Center.
- iPad and Mac
- A sidebar on iPad, and TTV on the Mac.
- Locks for a shared screen
- A passcode with Face ID, a separate parental PIN, and adult categories hidden until you decide otherwise. The lock reaches the watch as well.
- Built the way Apple builds
- Liquid Glass on iOS 26 over a proper iOS 17 design, with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency honoured throughout.

Privacy
No account
From your provider to your screen. Not through us.
- No account with us, and nothing to sign up for.
- Passwords are kept in the iOS Keychain; your playlists and what you watch stay on the device.
- Streams travel straight from your provider or your server to your screen — nothing of ours sits in between.
- Our own service carries support messages, notifications and purchase confirmations — never your playlist, your channels or what you watch.
- Purchases go through Apple; we never see payment details.

Questions
Before you download
01 Does TTV come with channels or a subscription?
No. TTV is a media player only. It does not include, sell or recommend any channels, playlists, subscriptions or providers. To watch, you need a playlist or a login of your own from a provider you have chosen, or your own Jellyfin, Emby or Plex server.
02 Where do I get an IPTV playlist?
From the provider you subscribe to — they send an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login (server, user name and password). We do not sell playlists and cannot recommend a provider. If you run Jellyfin, Emby or Plex at home, your own server works as a source too.
03 Is TTV legal to use?
TTV is a player, like a video app on a computer: it plays what you point it at and adds nothing of its own. Use it with content you have the right to watch. What a playlist contains is a matter between you and the provider who supplied it.
04 How do I watch IPTV on CarPlay?
Add your playlist on the iPhone first. Then connect the phone to the car — with a cable or wirelessly — and open TTV on the car’s screen. Favourites, Channels, Recents and Playlists are there as tabs; tap a channel to play it, and use the steering-wheel buttons to change channel.
05 Can I watch video on my car’s screen with CarPlay?
Yes, while the car is parked. TTV plays the picture on the car’s display when the car is stationary — at a charger, in a car park, on a break — and when the car moves off, the picture stops and the sound carries on.
06 Can I watch while driving?
No. Video in the car is for passengers and for parked cars only, and TTV stops the picture when the car is moving. Never watch video while driving, and always follow the traffic laws where you are.
07 Can TTV mirror my iPhone’s screen to the car display?
Yes. Start mirroring from TTV and the iPhone’s screen appears on the car’s display, and it stops when you end it. The same rule applies as for TTV’s own video: the car has to be parked.
08 Can I mirror other apps, like a browser or a video app without a cast button?
Yes. TTV’s screen mirroring is not limited to TTV: whatever is on the iPhone’s screen — another video app, a browser — goes to the car display or the TV, so apps that never added a cast button can still reach a bigger screen.
09 How do I cast IPTV from my iPhone to a Chromecast?
Put the phone on the same Wi-Fi as the Chromecast, tap the Cast button in TTV’s toolbar or in the player, and choose the TV. The phone then works as a remote, with play, pause and channel up and down. If a channel will not start, the provider may be blocking Chromecast playback on their side — TTV tells you when that happens, and AirPlay usually still works.
10 Does TTV work with AirPlay?
Yes. Send any channel, film or episode to an Apple TV, an AirPlay TV or a car display that supports AirPlay, from the player’s AirPlay button.
11 Is there an Apple TV app?
Yes, a full one for the Siri Remote: Live Now, Favourites and Continue Watching on Home, Live TV by category, films, series and search. Add your Xtream Codes login or M3U link on the Apple TV itself, or sign in to your Jellyfin, Emby or Plex server there.
12 How do I add an Xtream Codes account?
Choose Add Playlist, then Xtream Codes, and enter the server address, user name and password your provider sent. If they sent a single get.php link instead, paste it and the three fields fill themselves in.
13 Can I use an M3U or M3U8 playlist?
Yes, from a link or a file. Paste the address, or pick an .m3u or .m3u8 file from Files. TTV sorts the list into live channels, films and series, reads every guide the playlist names, and keeps catch-up details where the list has them.
14 Does TTV handle very large playlists?
Yes. It is tested with a 700,000-row playlist — about 30,000 channels, 98,000 films and 20,000 series — and imports it whole. The last copy of each playlist is kept on the device, so the app opens on it straight away and refreshes in the background.
15 How do I add a TV guide (EPG)?
An Xtream Codes login brings its guide with it, and an M3U playlist that names a guide (x-tvg-url) has it read automatically. You can also add an XMLTV guide address yourself; compressed .gz guides work too.
16 Does TTV support catch-up and Start Over?
Yes, on channels whose provider keeps an archive. From the guide, restart a programme that is under way or play one that has already aired. When a live stream keeps a window behind it, you can also pause and rewind live TV and return with Go Live.
17 Can I download films and series to watch offline?
Yes. Download a film, an episode or a whole season in one tap, pause and resume, and watch with no connection at all. Live channels are watched live and are not downloaded.
18 Does TTV work with Jellyfin, Emby or Plex?
Yes, as full sources. Sign in with a password, Quick Connect or a Plex PIN; your libraries appear as films and series, the server’s Continue Watching and Next Up show on Home, and you can download, cast and mark titles as watched.
19 Does TTV support MAG or Stalker portals?
No, deliberately. TTV works with Xtream Codes logins, M3U and M3U8 playlists, XMLTV guides and Jellyfin, Emby and Plex servers.
20 Can I use more than one playlist?
Yes. Add as many as you have, give each a symbol and a colour, and switch from the toolbar — or from the Playlists tab in CarPlay.
21 Is there a parental lock?
Yes. Lock the whole app with a passcode and Face ID, set a separate parental PIN, and keep adult categories hidden. The lock applies on the Apple Watch too.
22 Are my provider login and password safe?
Passwords and server sign-ins are stored only in the iOS Keychain on your device, and an M3U link and the playlist it downloads stay in the app’s own storage there. Streams travel straight from your provider or your server to your device — or to the TV, when you cast. We never receive your playlist, your login or what you watch.
23 Does TTV work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The watch shows what is playing with play, pause and channel up and down, now and next on your favourite channels, what is live now, and your downloads.
24 Does TTV work on a Mac?
Yes. TTV runs on the Mac as well as on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch, and one App Store listing covers them all.
25 Why won’t a channel play?
Most often the reason is on the provider’s side: an expired account (Home says so when it is), more devices watching at once than the subscription allows, or a channel that is down. If it plays on the phone but not on a Chromecast, the provider is blocking Chromecast playback; try AirPlay. If none of that fits, write to us — never include your password.
26 Do I need an account with you?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Your playlists and settings live on your device, and the only logins involved are the ones your provider or your own server gave you.
27 Which languages does TTV support?
TTV is available in 40 languages, from English, Türkçe, Deutsch and Español to العربية, 日本語 and 简体中文.
28 Is there an Android or Android TV version?
It is on the way. Versions for Android phones, Android TV and Google TV are planned, and will be listed here when they reach Google Play.
